BAPTS

Boosting Advanced Public Transport Systems (INTERREG IVB North West Europe Programme)

The mission of BAPTS is to implement an integrated package of high-quality public transport systems and services as model solutions for clean, efficient, accessible and sustainable mobility in North West Europe (NWE). In order to achieve this ambitious aim, BAPTS combines nine partners from six European countries who are translating different approaches into tangible action and high-quality outputs.

The project is co-financed by the European Union’s (EU) European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the INTERREG IVB North West Europe (NWE) Programme 2007-2013.

Project partners

BAPTS is composed of nine partners from six countries with almost ten million citizens speaking four different languages. The partnership consists of the cities of Bielefeld (DE), Darlington (UK), Dublin (IE), Frankfurt/Main through RMV (DE), Eindhoven (NL), Liège (BE), Lille Métropole (F), Nantes Métropole (F) and Southend-on-Sea (UK). The lead partnership of the project is held by the city of Bielefeld.
